Photography has been a creative outlet and a profession for me.
Whether it’s fine art, commercial or editorial my goal is telling a story with that photo.
As a photographer and artist, my challenge and achievement lie in bringing out the unique aspects and essence of the subject, a combination of art and soul. My journalism background and natural curiosity help me get closer and to bring the viewer a more intimate experience of seeing and feeling--the vision that my client wants or the story that I want to tell.

I worked for a daily newspaper for four years and shot most of the editorial photos as features in The Times Leader (Ohio): Jerry Ebbert of Ebbert’s Farm Market for an article on corn; Holly Herbold's certified organic farm; a unique equine therapy program that has rescued an abandoned historic farm, an assortment of horses, and clients of all ages; a family leaving a legacy on behalf of a young soldier killed in his final two weeks of active duty. I also shot photos on a boat from “The Deadliest Catch” and a local oyster farm for “From the Waters,” a food article in The Astorian (Oregon.)
The bridge photo is one of the cover shots I did for Coast Food, a coastal entertainment magazine.
